The Pegboard

What the neighbors have noticed

Notices go up here when enough people independently raise a hand about the same member. This is a count, posted the way a notice goes up at the post office — nothing has been decided, nobody has been restricted, and no moderator has looked at it.

The name is struck, not the person. This card carries no name and no link to an account, so it will not turn up in a search for anybody — but the photo is theirs, and a neighbor will recognize a neighbor. Treat this as a notice, not as an answer.

The board of peers is switched off. Enough hands are meant to put a matter in front of a board of neighbors drawn by lot. That part is built and switched OFF: this membership is too small for the number to mean anything yet, and a path like that should not run for the first time on the worst day this place ever has. Your flag is counted and it can put a notice on the board. It cannot convene anybody today, and we would rather say so than let you assume it can.

Nothing is on the board. That is the ordinary state of it, and a quiet board is a good sign rather than a broken page.
